JR BirdGirl tells stories and brings joy through illustration and art.

JR BirdGirl’s approach is to chase her own curiosity to explore how colors, themes, stories, and interesting facts can be demonstrated through her work.

An analog artist through and through, JR BirdGirl desires for her art to be an escape from our overly digitized world (and with some reluctance establishes this website to bring ‘legitimacy’ to something that is far more legitimate in person).

JR BirdGirl is a childhood nickname and comes from a riff of the old song referring to the Junior Birdmen of America. If you remember the song, “you are welcome!” (I assume I just put it in your head for the day). If you don’t know the song, you are missing out but google makes it easy to learn more.

JR BirdGirl resides in the kooky mountain town of Jamestown, Colorado with her family.
